For years, we watched something happen to our clients that never sat right with us.

Security companies — many of them businesses we’d already helped through ISO certification and accreditation — were being sold compliance management systems by other providers at eye-watering prices. Thousands of pounds a month, for software that tracked training, screening, and documentation that, frankly, shouldn’t cost that much to manage.

So we built our own. Compliance Master officially launches in September 2026, and it’s the result of putting compliance specialists and IT specialists in a room together with one brief: build something better, and price it fairly.

Why We Built It

CAW Consultancy has spent over 20 years helping organisations across the UK achieve ISO certification and industry accreditation. Compliance Master is a joint venture between CAW Consultancy, CAW Digital, and Screen My Staff — bringing together compliance expertise, software development, and employee screening under one platform.

The project was led by Craig Willetts, who’s been in the security industry since he was 18. That matters, because Compliance Master isn’t a generic compliance tool with a security skin bolted on — it’s designed from the ground up for the sector, built by people who understand what BS7858 screening, SIA licensing, and shift-based deployment actually look like day to day.

How It Works

The workflow is designed to take the admin burden off your desk entirely:

1. You add a staff member and select which training they need.
2. They receive an email, log in, and submit their screening information themselves.
3. Evidence is added to your company profile in real time — and the system automatically sends reference request emails to former employers, covering a full 5 or 10-year period, with no input needed from you.
4. Watchlist checks and SIA licence checks are built in and run automatically.
5. Training reminders go out ahead of deadlines — usually aligned to a staff member’s first deployment — and if training isn’t completed in time, you’re notified before that person is deployed untrained.

Beyond onboarding, Compliance Master keeps running in the background: reminding you when documents are due for review, when audits need conducting, when registers need updating, and ensuring only pre-approved suppliers are used for pre-approved products.

• Shift and rota management, including bulk CSV upload — staff see their shifts in real time as soon as they’re uploaded, with clock-on reminders sent as their shift starts to help prevent wage discrepancies
• A panic button for staff, with real-time alerts to management
• Live incident reporting
• Continuous GPS tracking — the same system tracks a staff member whether they’re on foot or in a vehicle responding to a call
• Reports generated at the push of a button, so you always have mission-critical data ready for audits and client meetings without hunting for it
